Well, I've only been trying my hand at LF2 sprites for the past few days, but I'm using: Program: Photoshop CS6 Size: 200% Brush Size: I had been using mostly 3 for smaller details and 5 for filling in larger blocks of color, on a normal hard paintbrush. I'm thinking I should go even smaller than this, though. Hardware: Wacom Bamboo Splash tablet I'm drawing an outline of my character first and then drawing colored blobs over it, then shading. My layers have been divided based on colors so I can lock the opacity when I shade (to avoid going outside the lines), which is my process when I draw a normal picture but I'm not sure it's the most efficient way for doing sprites (I should probably do separation by body parts and not color, for better animation). I might also consider trying out a sprite in Paint Tool SAI, my favorite drawing program, because its brushes are a lot crisper than PS brushes. Might be worth an experiment
