Concept fan art??

Always wanted to draw some LF2 fanart, but i dont have enough patience to end it. So my idea is that you guys help me with some fanart's.

First i didnt know what i was going to draw, but wonted that the style was somehow similar to heise drawings (http://heise.deviantart.com/gallery/). Something between realistic and anime style.
Started with my favorite LF2 char- Davis. This is what iv got after almost 1 hour sketching:


He has some kind of blue dragon eyes, its would represent hes inner dragon (dragon punch ect)..
So i could end hes face pretty soon, but don know what to do with body. Any sugestions??

P.S. I dont have to much time, so progress will be very slowly

You must surely had posted a wrong picture, Bob. I bet you drew that while looking in the mirror and singing some Linkin Park song and reading that old man's story about a hunchbacked man in Paris with whom a young lady fell in love with, which is btw a pretty good story but has the same relation with LF2 as does your drawing... which is absolutely and completely nothing, nada and null.

uhmm?? Im not looking into mirror too much, not listen to Linkin Park, and do not know what story you're talking about... What this pic does with LF2 ?? It means to be Davis someday... if you critique let it be constructive.

Now i am like whatever, nothing to say, just wanted some help in finding proper pose for this Davis fanart

ppl helped me and say that hes to tall. And would like to make something similar here. Theres not many LF2 fan art out there...

in first i wanted to place some energy dragon on background, second is just like energy balls shooting, and third i like dragon punching some bandit/villain in perspective...
So are there any suggestions out there??

have you seen this (by neo_w43) before?


anyway, the pose looks fine to me (waist is a bit too thin, maybe that's why people say he's too tall), but you could always try drawing it at a different angle
e.g. This Justin by R-GUN has always been a fav of mine. It just adds so much more impact when drawn from a different angle

Could you send me the picture as photoshop file or whatever you have saved it, so I can sketch over some poses?

its only face for now, and only one layer. Still don't know if the skin tone isn't to light?

Never seen this before :/ probably posted in Chinese section or on LFE ?? Was seen some great drawings in anime style on official forum, but not even remember who draw them (there was some LF2 chars, Wolverine, and others).

The first one was from the Chinese section (quite a while now) and neo is seldom active
He made some really nice drawings that are probably lost forever because MH is lazy (and the links die out, but around half can still be found here and here in a lower resolution)

Constructive criticism? Is that edible? Oh nom nom nom.

Being very serious person that I am, maybe I mistook the definition of "concept art". I remember seeing Vegeta with 3d drawn face, which I think was taged "alternative". So, maybe that's what this is about - alternative art.

On the pose: draw a bigger hand. It will look more mangaesque, because 'em mangakas ofter use perspective in that stance (I remember seeing something similar, but can't seem to remember atm by what artist). Also, if you will draw completely different faces, at least leave the bandages on which are like a signature to LF2 Davis (or a tribute to Samurai X Sasuke, but whatevarrr).

As for neo_w43 drawing. Is that Silva on the right? Lawdy Jesusus of Christusus!
