Wow, a lot of feedback I see you have done some progress. nice walking animation, do you like to make these frames like over draw everyone or just rotate? I do a little of both depending on how much needs to be redrawn in a frame. Sometimes if I think I can get away with a lot of rotating, but the actual rotation makes the layer look all gross and messy, I'll still retrace the parts I rotated (silly, since it'll be scaled down by half for the game anyways) so it looks cleaner. For the walk for instance I was able to use the upper body of the breathe animation for starters, then had to draw all new legs and make modifications to the chest fur so it would move with the body, and rotate/redraw the arms. For the run once I drew the first frame I was able to get away with reusing most of it and just redrawing the legs and touching up the arms for the other frames. So far I'd been using the exact same head as in my breathing frames, but I'm doing the punch now and for the first time had to draw a brand-new head for some of the frames. Could you teach me how to make sprites? because seriously, I cant do it anymore, i tried and it sux. I cant make normal sprite-_- i think this is the end for me. Whaaaaa? You really must be drunk I've only been doing this for like a month now...I have a long way to go before I could ever match up to your level I might suggest you to slow down his walking speed.. seems to much in compare with body moves! Hmm. Do you mean the walking speed in the data, or the frames itself and their amount of motion? I haven't actually touched the data at this point, I just replaced the frames on Woody's default sheet with mine (since that's who I've been tracing) and started a game after picking him as my character. Maybe the character should just be a little slower than the default, then? And yeah, the plan is to be a character for the mod I'll be making with a friend of mine. All the characters will be based on members of my forum, so I'm starting with my tiger. it will be more of a challenge when it comes time to do special attack sprites and I have to pull out things like chainsaws to make animations of... Just kinda you walking looks way too stiff to me as he should bend his knees a lil also while walking, otherwise nice work on it Hmm...so couple people are noticing something off about the walking. I did pretty much trace over Woody's legs for the animations, but I'm thinking my shading could be the main flaw here - with Woody's pants you can see a better indication of the bending and movement of the legs, which got lost in my translation from 'pants' to 'tiger leg' which I think I may have shaded a bit too straightly. Maybe I'll go back in there when I finish my punch cycle and try to re-shade the legs so you can sense the movement a little better...so far shading is the biggest challenge for me, but I'll keep practicing I thought there was another post in this thread before that seems to be gone now
