sprite this again

kinda similar to the "draw this meme" i posted the original sprite at LFE somewhere around DEC 2011 and i resprited it again today, result:

so i need you critiques,comments,feedback,suggestions whatever it is tell me how much have i advanced the last 2 years, what did i improve, what do i keep doing wrong what should i work on....etc

i feel like doing more like these sprites haha so expect more stuff soon.
oh btw, if any of you feels like trying this please jump right in, just take in mind the sprite your respriting needs to be at least one year old

this might look like i just polished old sprites of YinYin but i tried mimicking what he did to sprite frozen back in 2006 i think (?) anyway, a quick recolor of firzen's clothes, spriting over the body and editing freeze's head.

Contrast, shapes and shading got better. The character design itself is a little weird so it's hard to compare other aspects.
You could probably let the hood show even more surface at the back of her head than you already do compared to the old one.

This one is worse. Cloths look like a greasy potato sack now. The head/hair had much better volume. The face got too long because you moved his eyes above the ears (which makes him look more smug than fierce - not very likeable) and cut the hairline way too high compared to the top of his head.

I also prefer the dull fabric, messy hair and tensed up stance over the new laid back sleek attire.

The new boots and wrist covers are cool though.

now his hair style looks like emo
short cape looked better, gives more unique look.
cyan color is too shiny and also hair could use more shades like shine

Actually, sprite itself has better quality, i love this fresh looking clothes(nice choose of colors), cape etc but in 2014v he doesn't looks like Frost anymore. He lost bit of his epicness, mainly cuze emo's hair and attitude/stance (shoulders thing) 
Its like comparing two different characters so in my opinion it's not fail at all.

been feeling like spriting something the past couple weeks my tab i still not working since last year so a mouse will do for now.

i might do other chars/sprites later depending what i can find.. i cant go with something too detailed my hand is pretty shaky when i sprite with a mouse and doing details with it is pretty tough.
